What's the problem?

The wax ring is most likely needs to be replaced because it’s deteriorated to the point that it is allowing sewer gases to escape from the bottom on your toilet. A bad odor can also be caused
by a low water level. If the water is too low the trap is open and sewer gases can rise up through
your toilet.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Be sure wax gasket is at least 70°F temperature to insure proper flow of wax.

  2. Press wax gasket over horn outlet of toilet bowl, extending plastic flange away from the bowl.

  3. Set bowl in place and use body weight to compress wax gasket.

  4. Twist bowl slightly to spread wax.

  5. Tighten flange bolts (not included) carefully to prevent breaking the bowl.
